Terms Of Warranty

  1. Petrol - 5 years or 250,000 KM. Whatever comes first.
  2. All DC5 Nano Metal Hydrogen batteries are fully guaranteed against any/all manufacturing and quality defects for the first 5 years (60 months) from the date of purchase with our Comprehensive Warranty (Refer to terms & conditions).
  3. All DC5's batteries are warranted to perform according to specifications and with reasonable expectations during this period of warranty.
  4. The manufacturer, Eureka Manifolds Concept Sdn. Bhd., will provide a 1-to-1 exchange of equivalent battery in honoring any claims on warranty related to warranties stated above without any cost to the buyer (Please refer to Terms & Conditions).
  5. The Comprehensive Warranty is applicable to all DC5 batteries regardless of application on Petrol engines.
  1. Diesel - 3 years or 250,000 KM. Whatever comes first.
  2. All DC5 Nano Metal Hydrogen batteries are fully guaranteed against any/all manufacturing and quality defects for the first 3 years (36 months) from the date of purchase with our Comprehensive Warranty (Refer to terms & conditions).
  3. All DC5's batteries are warranted to perform according to specifications and with reasonable expectations during this period of warranty.
  4. The manufacturer, Eureka Manifolds Concept Sdn. Bhd., will provide a 1-to-1 exchange of equivalent battery in honoring any claims on warranty related to warranties stated above without any cost to the buyer (Please refer to Terms & Conditions).
  5. The Comprehensive Warranty is applicable to all DC5 batteries regardless of application on Diesel engines.

TERMS & CONDITIONS ON WARRANTY

*Customers are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to all terms & conditions during time of purchase.

  1. Upon purchase of a DC5 battery from any of our authorized Dealers or Outlets, the customer will be provided with an Official Warranty Card which must be filled and certified by the Dealer or Outlet operator.
  2. Customers are advised to download our App www.def-con5.com and submit online to activate the Warranty upon which the manufacturer will issue e-warranty certificate.

In the event of suspected battery failure and/or battery not able to perform to reasonable expectations, the customer can call or send a message via whatsApp to the manufacturer's Customer Service Hotline or visit any of our authorized Dealer or Outlet.

  1. Authorized personnel from the manufacturer or the outlet will perform a diagnosis on the battery and the vehicle to determine fault.
  2. If the battery failure is determined to be a manufacturing or quality defect, or battery performance failure due to unexpected degradation, or other factors not related to any Limitations on Warranty Liability issues, the Outlet or manufacturer representative will immediately honor the Warranty according to the Terms of Warranty.
  3. The defective battery will be returned to the Outlet or manufacturer representative during the course of Warranty Claim.
  4. Def-Con 5 reserves the right to have the Customer present during diagnosis.

Warranty will be rendered VOID due to any of the following:

  1. Failure to show Proof of Purchase and/or failure to activate Warranty.
  2. Battery damaged by fire, collision, flood and other factors unrelated to normal battery operation.
  3. Unauthorized installations and unauthorized transfer to another vehicle or applications.
  4. Unauthorized tampering of batteries. Example - Opening up of casing.
  5. Any damages to battery including battery casing which are not related to quality or manufacturing defects.
  6. Any damages due to malfunction of vehicle's electrical system.
  7. Any damages due to adverse environmental conditions in which the battery is kept.
  8. Any damages due to customer abuse or negligence.
